Grisly trophy photos posted to porn sites, offered for desktop displays. Has been practise for decades to take such photos, including trophy severed heads; the terrorists did not invent this practise. The West, including Americans have done so in the past. In Vietnam ears, fingers and other body parts of enemy Viet Cong were taken - and heads.
No one race has a corner on barbarity.
